About Chapin Interiors
Sarah Chapin’s introduction to sophisticated, practical design began in childhood when she often worked for her father at The Pottery Barn, which under his ownership became the acknowledged leader of retail table top accessories and home furnishings in the New York metropolitan area.
A graduate of Hollins University and the Parsons School of Design, Sarah's signature style evolved during a twenty year career that includes more than a decade working with designer Mariette Himes Gomez. Collaborating with a variety of well known architects, Sarah worked with Gomez Associates to design multiple residential projects for clients in New York City, the Hamptons, Palm Beach, California, Martha’s Vineyard and Santa Fe. She also managed the redecoration of a thirty-eight room country house hotel located in Washington, Connecticut.
Since 2000, Chapin Interiors has worked with clients on residential projects throughout New York City, Westchester County, Long Island, New England and abroad. From Park Avenue to Prague, Sarah Chapin brings to each commission and understated sensitivity to architectural style, furnishings, color and decorative detailing.
