Tudor Manor, Westchester
This classic early 20th century stone and stucco house was designed by New York architect Charles Lewis Bowman. Originally built for an explorer/hunter who filled it with antiques and objects collected during his world travels, it is now home to an active family of four. Maintaining the house's period character was the design goal. Careful restoration has resulted in a formal yet very comfortable home which incorporates an eclectic mix of the new owners' European and Asian antiques and decorative accessories.
